Overview
The Reaching Wider Team at the University of South Wales is seeking to appoint an Administrator to support the partnership. The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support for the Reaching Wider partnership, contributing to the success of the team and its associated projects. Based in Pontypridd, with some home working, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual responsible for the provision of general administrative support for the team including event support, processing bookings, managing diaries, servicing meetings, data entry and finance.
The successful candidate will deal with a wide range of queries from key widening access groups and will need excellent people skills. Applicants should address the associated points in the duties, responsibilities and person specification in their application.
This is a part-time post and the post-holder will be expected to work across campuses and partnership HEIs when required. Please note the post-holder may be required to work weekends and evenings on occasions.
Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support for the Reaching Wider partnership and its projects.
* Assist with event support, processing bookings, managing diaries and servicing meetings.
* Carry out data entry and basic financial administration as required.
* Respond to a wide range of queries from key widening access groups, using excellent people skills.
* Work across campuses and partnership HEIs as needed, including potential weekend and evening work.
