What You’ll Be Doing: Designing components and assemblies for next-gen electrification R&D projects Creating detailed drawings, running design reviews, and applying DfM principles Performing FEA to validate complex mechanical designs Supporting test plan creation and managing product verification activities Collaborating with supply chain & manufacturers to ensure feasibility and quality Analysing test data to refine designs and influence future product development Contributing to process improvements across the Mechanical Systems team ✅ What You’ll Need: BEng/MEng in Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline 2 years' experience in automotive, electric, or hybrid systems preferred Strong CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX) Sound understanding of manufacturing methods: sheet metal, plastics, machining Proficiency in technical drawing standards (GD&T, BS8888) Knowledge of rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing techniques High attention to detail and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset ⭐ Bonus Points For: Experience with high-voltage (HV) systems Workshop or hands-on assembly experience FEA confidence and 3D scanning/mesh inspection familiarity Why Join?
