QA Inspector Location: Glasgow
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week (shift pattern after training)

About the Role Talent Media is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established, high-precision manufacturing business operating across the UK and Europe. The company supports advanced engineering programmes and is known for its strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking an experienced QA Inspector to join their inspection team based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards across manufacturing operations.
Job Overview As QA Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out in-process and final inspections on materials, components, and finished products. You will ensure all products meet required specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, supporting the delivery of high-quality outputs to customers.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong engineering background who takes pride in precision, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured components.

Use precision measuring equipment including callipers, micrometres, gauges, and CMMs.

Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA documentation.

Report non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards and company procedures.

Support additional quality-related activities as required.

Person Specification Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Quality-focused mindset with a proactive and responsible approach.

Experience & Background Previous experience as a QA / QC Inspector within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential.

Time-served background is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of inspection techniques, tools, and measurement systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
