Proactive are an experienced international supplier of broadcast and professional video equipment. Our clients span the entire communications market and range from budding video amateurs to major broadcasters.
The warehouse is becoming an increasingly busy area of the business and we have an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking team that is at the core of our business.
This role is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30.
Main purpose of job:
* Receive stock and sign for it making sure it's in good condition and no shortages in accordance with the Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
* Enter stock onto SAP computer system using the GRN and matching to the Purchase Order making sure all serial numbers are captured and correct bin location is registered on SAP stock record.
* Put stock away into correct bin location.
* From SAP pick and pack manager, select the day's deliveries to pack and ship. This is an ongoing task throughout the day. All items must be securely packed and a tracking number obtained from the courier.
* At the end of the day, assist the courier drivers with loading the van.
* Undertake periodic stock checks.
* Resolving stock discrepancies.
* Keep storeroom clean, tidy and hazard free.
* At year end it may be necessary to work at a weekend to complete the year end stock check.
* We are a growing company and whilst everyone have their own role on occasions it is necessary to help out in other departments.

Basic IT skills required
At least 1 year warehouse experience preferred

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
