About the Role
As a Repairs Supervisor, you will lead a team within a project or a defined work stream, driving service excellence and achieving KPIs. Your responsibilities include assessing resource needs, managing daily activities, and ensuring team objectives are met within time, cost, and budget constraints.
You will oversee team performance according to company policies, clarify roles and responsibilities, conduct regular review meetings, and coach, mentor, and motivate staff. You’ll also handle complaints, inform management, and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
About You
The ideal candidate will have significant technical expertise from a trade background (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry) and extensive proven experience. You should possess good knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials, along with excellent time management, IT, and influencing skills. A proactive and flexible approach is essential.
Qualifications required include a Level 3 trade qualification or Supervisor NVQ and a Blue CSCS card. Experience in asset or project management, delivering major works contracts, and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility are highly desirable. Experience in social housing is particularly advantageous.
You must hold a full UK driving license for at least 12 months.
