Financial Analyst / Finance Business Partner (Retail)
London | £50,000 to £60,000 + Benefits + Study Support | 2 days in the office
This is one of those roles that gives you a proper platform. Not just “do the numbers”. Actually influence what the business does next.
We’re working exclusively with a well-known, fast-moving consumer brand. Creative, commercial, and growing quickly. The kind of place where good people get noticed and move fast.
If you’re part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified and want to step into something more commercial, this is a very good move.
The role
You’ll sit in the middle of the business, not on the sidelines.
Working closely with marketing, sales and operations, helping them make better decisions using finance.
Think:
* Partnering with non-finance teams to drive performance
* Building models around product launches and store performance
* Supporting budgets, forecasts and planning cycles
* Owning commercial analysis and business cases
* Spotting opportunities to improve margin, efficiency and growth
* Getting involved in projects and new ideas across the business
You’ll also be working directly with a strong Commercial Finance Director who will invest time in developing you.
What they’re looking for
* Part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Commercial mindset. You care about what the numbers mean, not just what they are
* Energy. You want to be involved and make an impact
* Strong communication. You can talk to people across the business
* Retail, eCommerce or consumer experience helps, but not essential
They care more about the person than a perfect CV.
Why this is a good move
A lot of analyst roles keep you in the background. This won’t.
You’ll be pushed into conversations, given responsibility early, and have the chance to build real business partnering experience.
If you’re good, you’ll progress quickly.
The bits that matter
* £50k to £60k salary
* Study support
* Hybrid working, 2 days in the office
* Genuinely good culture. No politics, no nonsense
If you want a role where you actually learn, add value, and move forward, this is worth a look.
