Financial Accountant - High-Growth Property Company

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, enhancing controls, and developing the systems and processes needed for scale. This is an excellent move for someone with 3+ years' experience, including those looking to transition from practice into industry for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage key financial accounting activities, including accurate balance sheet reconciliation and maintaining supporting records
* Support month-end and year-end processes to ensure timely, reliable financial reporting
* Ownership of a lease accounting project to align FRS102 to IFRS 16
* Support standardisation and development of accounting practices as the business evolves
* Prepare required financial submissions, including indirect tax returns, with clear supporting analysis
* Strengthen internal controls and contribute to building scalable finance processes
* Support with audit process and provide clear financial information
* Analyse financial data to highlight performance trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Desired skills and experience:
* ACA / ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
* Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting
* Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities (lookups, pivots, SUMIFS etc.)
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* High attention to detail, driven, accountable, and proactive
* Exposure to the property sector or multi-site environments
