Metroline Manchester is a recently formed subsidiary of ComfortDelGro. In March 2024, we were awarded contracts to operate four franchises and join the Bee Network in Greater Manchester by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Metroline was established in 1989 and is the fourth largest bus operator in London, operating about 17 percent of the city’s scheduled bus services. It has been part of the largest private land transport company, ComfortDelGro, since 2000. Currently, Metroline employs 6,000 colleagues across the UK, serving over one million customers daily. ComfortDelGro operates in 12 countries with a fleet of over 40,000 vehicles and more than 22,000 colleagues.
Job Summary
Pay: £17 per hour (with increased rates for weekends & bank holidays)

Responsibilities
* Ensure your bus is kept in a clean and roadworthy condition
* Drive safely in accordance with current road and traffic laws, executing challenging manoeuvres when necessary
* Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
* Maintain professionalism while ensuring smooth and safe transportation for passengers of all backgrounds
* Collaborate with the team and support functions to exceed performance targets
* Work with management to identify and address malfunctions or areas for improvement

* Possess a full PCV licence and up-to-date CPC

Hours of Work
Full-time permanent contract, 38 hours per week, with shift work requiring flexibility for early starts, late finishes, and weekends.
