The Job
The role offers a variety of work for a broad range of clients. You will be responsible for preparing Personal and Partnership Tax Returns as well as reviewing Returns prepared by trainees. Other duties include:
* Obtaining missing information from clients, third parties, or internally
* Preparing capital gains computations and managing 60-day reporting
* Handling multi-property rental accounts
* Submitting documents to HMRC
* Assisting with HMRC enquiries
* Drafting correspondence for manager/partner approval
* Communicating workflow status regularly
* Ensuring jobs are completed within budgets
* Completing daily timesheets
* Conducting technical research as needed
* Supporting junior staff
* Preparing ATED returns
* Participating in training sessions
You and Your Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong tax knowledge
* Experience with Tax Return preparation
* Proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of Central tax software is a plus
* ATT qualification or similar experience
