Work experience in handling structured Swift formatted payment instructions (including CHAPS, Faster Payment) in a banking environment Your New Salary: Competitive Depending on experience Fully Office Based Perm Start: ASAP Reports to: Manager & Team Head of Clearing Mandarin speaking Clearing Settlement Administrator - What You'll be Doing Each Day: * Process all correspondence payment instructions received from both internal and external clients of the Bank including agent banks in SCMS. * Apply sound knowledge of Faster Payment, CHAPS, SWIFT MT format messages and ISO20022 SWIFT XML format messages when processing payment instruction in SCMS and FOVA. * Actively monitor outstanding payment items and follow up with FCP compliance team on outstanding investigation. Engage and liaise with Nostro and Vostro Agent to address and resolve outstanding issues. * Perform Vostro accounts opening and closing in system. * Input accounting journal entries including interest, fees and charges in FOVA. * Maintain and report daily Nostro positions to Funds Position Keeper. * Remain vigilant regarding AML rules and procedures during routine working; all the CDD and AML checking in trade services and other product lines as required by the Bank’s policy. * Keep all AML check evidence for audit trail purpose. Must report/escalate to MLRO for potential positive hit or suspicious transaction in accordance with the Bank’s AML policy. * Conduct daily basic CASS review operation in accordance with established “policies’. Mandarin speaking Clearing Settlement Administrator - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: * Payment/clearing process, trade services and SWIFT experiences within banking. * Previously dealt with client transactions and any Mastercard/Visa payments. * Previously monitored fund movements and update the position for both incoming and outgoing payments. * Previously dealt with any internal Compliance enquiries and queries. * Good Microsoft Office skills.
