Director, HR Transactions – EY

We are expanding our UK team and looking for an experienced director to lead the HR M&A Transactions business in the EMEIA region.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage HR M&A projects – end‑to‑end from due diligence, day‑one preparation to carve‑out and post‑merger integration for the HR part of a transaction
* Develop and manage HR strategy and transformation projects, including people‑driven transformation, leveraging EY global enablers and tools
* Support and manage the HR M&A consultants and the team(s) during projects
* Drive business development, take part in negotiations with clients and support the go‑to‑market strategy
* Apply intellectual guile and enthusiasm to advise clients across all sectors and support decision makers in developing and executing transaction strategies
Qualifications
* Strong HR‑related experience or HR consulting experience (HR strategy, HR M&A or similar positions treated as a great plus)
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and consulting attitude – demonstrate the skills required to operate in a client‑facing role within a professional services firm
* Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel analysis and modelling)
* Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights
* Relevant experience in managing complex business projects
* Internal and external business development acumen
* Creativity, innovation, problem‑solving skills
* Ability to organize work efficiently and meet deadlines
Ideally, you’ll also have
* A degree in a business/finance related subject
* Experience working in an international environment
