What you’ll do on a typical day:
Design and cost innovative transport solutions for new business and existing operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability
* Utilize advanced modelling tools Paragon) for network optimization, scenario planning, and feasibility studies
* Analyse operational and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights
* Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, supporting tenders and strategic decisions
* Lead cross-functional collaboration to implement solutions, drive ESG initiatives, and support AI-driven optimization projects
What you need to succeed at GXO
Interest in transport modelling and network design, with proficiency in tools like Paragon and/or data analysis software
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts and engage stakeholders effectively
* Proven project management capability, delivering complex solutions under tight deadlines while ensuring quality standards
* In-depth knowledge of transport operations, cost optimization, sustainability principles, and emerging AI-driven solutions
* Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Transport Planning, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management; professional certifications and CPC desirable
