An Audio Typist/ Admin Support position is available within the Rheumatology Department at York Hospital. The role may be part or full time.
Responsibilities
* Audio typing of outpatient and administrative letters and reports.
* Communicate effectively using email, telephone, reception duties, and other methods as required.
* Filing, photocopying and other administrative tasks as needed.
* Provide typing and administrative support to medical secretaries.
* Deal with routine internal telephone queries.
* Respond professionally and sensitively to confidential matters.
* Provide support including appointment booking and general administrative tasks.
* Prioritise own workload and coordinate activities related to the role.
Qualifications
* GCSE English Language, Grade C or above, or equivalent.
* Proficient typing skills or equivalent qualification.
* Previous clerical or administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or customer service.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
