Boomerang Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and confident Homecare Supervisor to support our community-based care services in Gateshead.
This is a guaranteed-hours role offering stability, progression, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
About the Role
As a Homecare Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and mentoring care staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting service users with both complex and routine care needs in their own homes
Delivering personal care, companionship, and domestic support when required
Mentoring, training, and supporting new and existing care staff
Completing care plans, reviews, and quality checks
Conducting medication audits
Providing out-of-hours support on a rota basis
Supporting service users with social outings and medical appointments

What We're Looking For
Essential:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a care role
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Strong communication and IT skills
Experience with moving and handling
Desirable (training can be provided):
NVQ Level 3 or 4
PEG feeding experience
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
Medication management experience
