Applications are invited for 2 × whole‑time equivalent Fixed Term Consultant Anaesthetists posts at Aberdeen, each for a period of 12 months.

Department Overview Aberdeen Royal Infirmary hosts a large Anaesthetic department covering a comprehensive range of clinical services and providing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research programmes.
The department offers anaesthetic services in a variety of specialties with dedicated rotas covering paediatric, obstetric and cardiac work.
Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical care across a wide range of specialties.
Participate in 8 direct clinical care and 2 supporting professional activities as outlined in the 10 programmed activities job descriptions.
Support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training programmes.
Engage in research activities and professional development.
Contribute to local, regional and national professional activities.
Qualifications
Full registration with the GMC and licence to practise before starting.
Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register if trained in the UK.
CESR, Portfolio Pathway or International Recognised Specialist Qualification accredited by the GMC and confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
Possibility to work part‑time with flexible or job‑sharing arrangements.
Other Requirements Applications from candidates wishing to work on a part‑time basis will be considered. Flexible working arrangements including annualised job plans and job sharing are possible.
