Drivers Direct are recruiting day or nightClass 1 /HGV 1/CE driversfor our client in Barnsley, Doncaster and Goole.
The role:
* Trunking or Class 1 supermarket deliveries on days or nights to mixture of stores.
* Some deliveries will be palletised and taken off with pallet pump truck, other may be cage deliveries so may involve handball.
* Guaranteed 5 shifts a week up until Christmas at the very least!!!!
What’s on offer?
* Varied shift patterns on days or nights. Guaranteed 5 per week!
* Example pay 10 hours per day Weds to Fri + 10 hours Sat + 10 hours Sun = £1021.30 per week inc hol pay!
* Drivers with less than 1 year's experience are invited to apply!!!
Responsibilities
* Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with traffic regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
* For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 points on licence with no DR, IN, TT etc.
