We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
* Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
* Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assist with first aid when necessary and ensure a safe environment for all clients.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as needed.
Qualifications
* Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide patient-centred support.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients.
