We are seeking Team Teach trained support staff to work in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). These roles are ideal for those with a resilient, calm, and compassionate nature who are committed to helping young people re-engage with education.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support during lessons
* De-escalate challenging behaviour using Team Teach strategies
* Build positive relationships and act as a role model
* Support learning alongside teachers and SENCOs
* Help students develop social, emotional, and academic skills
Requirements
* Team Teach trained (must be in-date certification)
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs or SEND
* Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
