About Our Client
A well established Pulborough / Storrington based client are looking to recruit a full time Payroll Accounts Assistant.
Job Description
As Payroll Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
3. Processing weekly payroll ensuring all payments are calculated accurately
4. Processing weekly CIS payments
5. Processing of weekly Pensions data submissions
6. Processing of P32 and P11d submissions
7. Responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records, checking and reconciling payroll reports before BACS run
8. Preparing payroll journals to be entered on to Sage
9. To be the first point of contact for all payroll enquiries from staff, ensuring that all queries are dealt with promptly
10. Assist with the Finance Department function
The Successful Applicant
11. Ideally AAT qualified
12. Previous payroll experience essential
13. Previous experience with Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 50 Accounts essential
14. A strong understanding of PAYE, NIC and CIS
15. Previous experience with Nest pensions preferable
16. A working knowledge of HMRC procedures
17. A focused approach to working and strong attention to detail
18. Good numeracy skills
19. Good written and verbal communication skills
