I am recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established and leading UK distributor within the country sports industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship building, sales growth, and working with an established client base from day one.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of 100 existing client accounts from day one.
You will receive comprehensive onboarding, product training, and support to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed.

Your focus will be on:
* Managing and growing your allocated client portfolio
* Upselling additional products and identifying cross-selling opportunities
* Negotiating pricing, discounts, and commercial agreements
* Building strong relationships with independent retailers and trade customers
* Asking the right questions to understand customer needs and unlock further sales opportunities
* Driving revenue growth through proactive account development

Requirements
* Confident communicator who enjoys speaking to customers regularly
* Comfortable asking probing questions to identify sales opportunities
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness with an ability to upsell and negotiate
* Experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles preferred
* Interest in country sports, or outdoor equipment is beneficial but not essential
