Objective Of Role
Through the consistent delivery of the highest standards, promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotel’s targets.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Assist the Night Manager with the operations of the Night team.
* Ensure operations are carried out in line with department and hotel standards while providing quality service to our guests in accordance with statutory and health and safety requirements.
* Ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
* Anticipate guests’ needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.
* Carry out departmental standards in accordance with the SOP Manual.
* Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance, body language, and conduct.
* Report all accidents, incidents, and suspicious occurrences to relevant authorities and assist in providing backup.
* Familiarize with and adhere to all hotel rules and regulations regarding fire procedures, health and safety, and security.
* Carry out the Night Audit.
* Promote sales within the department and maximize sales opportunities.
* Oversee the standard of meeting rooms for the next business day.
* Control departmental costs within set standards.
* Ensure the security of cash, stock, and equipment and follow all hotel procedures.
Requirements
* 6 - 12 months experience in a similar role.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to oversee and delegate work.
* A warm, friendly, and approachable personality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
