Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid has supported women and children for over 40 years, providing services around domestic violence and abuse.
As the region's leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop-in services, community support, and emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. We also have colleagues providing training and consultancy to businesses, health, and social care professionals, raising awareness of gender-based violence issues.
We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team, all passionate about supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and addressing the wider issues of violence against women and girls.
This role involves developing and delivering family support and play sessions for children and their mothers in refuges and the community, as well as leading domestic violence awareness sessions.
