General Catering Assistant
Location: King Edwards School Southampton
Hours: 40 hours per week 7am - 15.30
Rate: £ 13.74 per hour
Contract: Permanent- Term Time
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation of food and snacks and serving meals and till service
* Supporting hospitality services as required.
* Ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
* Providing a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to students, staff, and guests.
* Collaborating with team members and undertaking duties in the kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations.

Job Description

Qualifications
* Experience in a catering or food service environment is desirable but not essential.
* Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (Level 1 Food Safety Certificate is a plus).
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* A friendly, customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to maintain cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced environment.
