We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Theatre Nursing Team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 2:00pm and 10:00pm. This role is ideal for a confident, motivated RVN who thrives in a fast paced referral environment and enjoys being at the heart of surgical patient care. The Role As a Twilight Surgery RVN, you will play a vital role in supporting our evening and emergency surgical caseload, working closely with our surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing colleagues and interns. Your role will include: Supporting emergency and urgent surgical cases Acting as a scrub nurse across a wide range of advanced procedures Anaesthetic monitoring for complex referral cases Assisting with theatre preparation, recovery, and patient flow Maintaining the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and theatre practice Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team Our Hospital We are a multidisciplinary, specialist referral hospital, offering an exceptional standard of care across: Surgery – including minimally invasive, soft tissue, and orthopaedic procedures Medicine Dermatology Neurology & Neurosurgery Oncology This provides unparalleled exposure to complex cases, cutting‑edge techniques, and advanced nursing practice, making the role both rewarding and intellectually stimulating.
