Winsearch are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder on behalf of our client based In Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where quality, precision, and team collaboration are at the forefront of operations.

The Role
You will be responsible for welding materials using the TIG welding process to a consistently high standard. Working closely with the Production Supervisor and wider engineering team, you will ensure all welding activities meet specification, quality, and safety requirements.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out TIG welding to a high standard in line with engineering specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings of varying complexity
Work independently where required and manage own workload effectively
Conduct self-inspection of completed welds before submitting for final inspection
Maintain high housekeeping standards and reinstate work areas following engineering activity
Ensure all work is completed within the requirements of HASAWA (1974)
Follow technical drawing specifications and quality control procedures
Adhere to all health and safety standards on site
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working to appropriate welding specifications
Relevant welder qualification certificates
Strong health & safety awareness
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Good communication skills
Strong quality focus and attention to detail
Desirable:
Previous coded welding experience
WQTC’s in accordance with 9606-1 and/or 9606-2
NVQ in Welding & Fabrication
MIG/MAG welding experience
Experience working within a 5S environment
