Remote across the West Midlands, with regular in-person client visits.
About Us
AT Rehab is an independent team of professionals specialising in assistive technology, delivering assessments, training, and ongoing support to individuals with complex and life-changing needs across the UK.
Our team brings together expertise from across disciplines – occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and specialist education. What unites us is a shared ethos: we are person-centred, rehabilitation-led, and focused on using technology as a means to achieve real-world goals.
The Opportunity
As demand for our service continues to grow, we are inviting expressions of interest from professionals experienced in assistive technology to join us on an associate (self-employed) basis. We are particularly keen to hear from practitioners based in the West Midlands area.
Typical Work Includes:
* Conducting detailed assistive technology assessments for clients with physical, communication, or cognitive needs.
* Making tailored recommendations for equipment and rehabilitation programmes that align with individual goals.
* Implementing solutions in collaboration with clients, families, carers, educators, and therapy teams, ensuring technology becomes meaningfully embedded in daily routines.
* Reviewing progress and planning ongoing support to ensure solutions remain effective as clients’ needs and goals evolve.
About You
* Have at least 3–5 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., OT, SLT, SEN, AAC, AT training or support).
* Understand how technology can remove barriers and promote independence across settings.
* Are confident using a mix of mainstream and specialist technologies to meet diverse needs.
* Value autonomy but appreciate being part of a supportive, knowledgeable network.
* Are flexible with your working hours and open to taking on clients according to your availability.
Why Join AT Rehab?
* A genuinely collaborative, values‑led team.
* Opportunities to work creatively with individuals living with complex or life-changing disabilities.
* Flexible self‑employed associate arrangements with excellent rates.
