We are looking to appoint a Medical Secretary/MDT Co-ordinator to join the Diabetes and Endocrinology Secretarial team. This is a 12-month secondment. You will have experience of administration duties and dealing with members of the public.
Key responsibilities
* Support the Team Leader Medical Secretary in delivering a comprehensive administrative service to a specialty team.
* Manage and communicate appointment and admission related information to patients and carers.
* Undertake typing of correspondence as appropriate; office duties; clinic alterations; answer telephone calls.
* Use software packages such as Microsoft Office, Careflow, IPortal, and other office-based duties.
* Provide support for MDT Co-ordinator duties as required; line management by Consultant(s) allocated to the post.

* Clinical typing experience
* Understanding of clinics and appointments
