Contract Manager – Waste Competitive salary car allowance benefits Oxfordshire SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Contract Manager to join the commercial team of an Energy from Waste facility in the Oxfordshire area. This role focuses on the effective management of fuel supply contracts, ensuring contractual compliance, commercial optimisation, and the reliable delivery of waste volumes required to support plant operations. The successful candidate will act as the key interface between the business, clients, suppliers, and operational teams. The role will involve: * Managing a portfolio of fuel supply contracts including Local Authority, commercial and industrial agreements * Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and delivery against contractual obligations * Monitoring and improving contract performance, implementing action plans to drive efficiency and value * Sourcing fuel in line with commercial targets, ensuring quality, volume and cost objectives are met * Liaising closely with site operations, suppliers and hauliers to ensure consistent fuel supply and compliance with site requirements * Managing contract documentation, reporting and maintaining accurate records across all agreements * Supporting contingency planning to maintain fuel supply during planned and unplanned outages * Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards To be considered for this role, you should have: * Experience in a Contract Manager or similar commercial role, ideally within waste management, energy from waste or feedstock management in the renewable sector * Strong knowledge of contract management, including performance monitoring and commercial negotiation * Experience managing client relationships and working with multiple stakeholders * Good understanding of financial processes including budgeting, forecasting and P&L reporting * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on offer: * Competitive salary depending on experience * A car allowance * A performance related bonus * Pension * Hybrid working available * Opportunity to work within the growing EFW sector For further information or to apply please contact Steve Utton at SCINERGY Recruitment on (phone number removed) or click quick apply now
