A renowned educational institution in Thornton-Cleveleys, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:
1. Delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
3. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
4. Contributing to the development of the mathematics curriculum and departmental initiatives.
5. Participating in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and developments in mathematics education.
Candidate Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
8. A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
9. Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
10. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
11. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
