Cybersecurity Specialist Training Delivery Lead

We’re supporting a leading financial services organisation in the appointment of a Cybersecurity Specialist Training Delivery Lead to lead the delivery of a global cybersecurity learning and capability programme.
This role will drive the design, execution and governance of specialist training across a large Cybersecurity function, ensuring teams are equipped with the skills, certifications and capability uplift required to protect a complex, global organisation.
The Role
You will own and evolve the Cyber learning and certification framework, ensuring structured career pathways, accreditation routes and continuous professional development are embedded across the Cybersecurity workforce.
This is a strategic yet hands‑on role — combining programme delivery, supplier management, governance oversight and data‑led performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of the Cybersecurity certification and accreditation programme, including funding oversight and governance
* Design and execute role‑aligned learning pathways and career development plans
* Maintain and evolve the Cyber training framework aligned to recognised standards (e.g. NIST NICE where relevant)
* Develop dashboards and reporting to measure training uptake, capability uplift and programme impact
* Partner with Cyber and Communications teams to deliver targeted learning campaigns
* Manage external learning providers and ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality delivery
* Oversee learning platform governance, onboarding/offboarding processes and compliance controls
* Lead a small delivery team to execute the programme effectively
What We’re Looking For
* Experience designing and delivering learning & development programmes for specialist or technical teams
* Strong stakeholder management across technical and senior leadership audiences
* Experience managing certification or accreditation programmes
* Confidence using data and reporting to measure learning effectiveness and business impact
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, structured learning
* Experience working within governance frameworks in regulated environments
Highly Desirable
* Exposure to Cybersecurity frameworks, concepts and operating models
* Experience within financial services or other regulated industries
* Supplier management and budget oversight experience

Working Arrangement
* Hybrid working – Sheffield‑based office presence required
* Inside IR35
