Training Programme Directors have specific responsibilities as agreed in their job plans but retain corporate responsibility with the LTPD for the organisation and supervision of specialty training programmes for general practice within NHS England in line with the national curriculum. This appointment is to the Postgraduate School of Primary Care. The post will be based at Durham & Tees Valley GP Training Programme in Stockton-on-Tees.

* Training the workforce (GP Educationalists, admin, GP and hospital trainers, educational and clinical supervisors).
* Supporting the Lead Training Programme Director as required to fulfil the School's agreed functions.
