Salary: £34,398–£52,490 (M1 - UPS3)
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience.

Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a successful secondary school and sixth form in Watford from September 2026. You will teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 while contributing to a thriving Performing Arts department.
The school is a high-performing, inclusive academy serving over 1,300 students aged 11–19, with excellent facilities, strong academic outcomes and a commitment to student success.
As a Drama Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Develop students performance skills, creativity and confidence
• Prepare students for GCSE Drama assessments and examinations
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all learners can succeed
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Performing Arts department
• Support school productions, performances and enrichment activities
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Drama education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Desirable Experience
• Experience teaching GCSE Drama
• Experience directing school productions and performances
• Ability to contribute to wider Performing Arts initiatives
• Experience working within a diverse secondary school setting
