Responsibilities
* Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, take responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of residents.
* Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and meals.
* Deliver care with kindness and respect to preserve residents’ dignity and individuality; participate in activities within the care home.
* Provide emotional support and assist residents with mobility, learning to use aids, or support at the end of life as needed.
* Recognise safeguarding responsibilities, identify signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, and know how to report concerns; attend safeguarding training and undertake related development as required.
