Description
Manage procurement and stock control for veterinary medicines, equipment, and consumables.
Develop strong supplier relationships to ensure best pricing and product availability.
Maintain accurate stock records and monitor usage across the business.
Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend improvements.
Streamline and refine stock procedures to improve efficiency.
Review invoices, pricing discrepancies, and stock variances.
Support compliance with relevant regulations (training available).
Assist in developing and improving procurement and inventory systems.It would suit someone with experience in a veterinary environment, pharmacy, or a procurement/buyer role. As this is a new position, the responsibilities will evolve over time, offering scope for the right candidate to shape the role.
