Pay rate – £39 per hour Contract – Temporary Knowsley MB Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their Young Persons team. 3 days office based To provide high-quality social work support to children in our care aged 14–18, promoting their safety, stability, and positive outcomes as they transition towards adulthood. The role requires a strong relational practice approach, underpinned by effective risk management and safety planning, particularly in response to contextual safeguarding risks such as exploitation, peer influence, and community harm, within a demanding and fast-paced team environment. Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
