What Youll Be Doing
Youll be dedicated to supporting frontline Social Care & Education (SCE) department staff and will resolve queries for many SCE systems, especially Liquidlogic, ContrOCC and other associated systems.
In addition, youll support the management and maintenance of the Council’s varied ICT systems, test enhancements and new functionalities. You’ll maintain system documentation and materials used by the business, partners, suppliers, and other IT teams.
Working within a small, dedicated team, you’ll collaborate with other support services for SCE as well as internal and external IT teams to resolve a variety of issues promptly and accurately.
What Youll Need
* Experience in a systems administration role supporting complex systems in a large organisation.
* Proven track record of supporting IT business systems: IT administration, IT applications and support.
* Maintaining system security, integrity and quality of confidential data.
* Logical approach to problem/fault resolution.
* Liaison with technical support teams and suppliers.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Good understanding of GDPR and the importance of information and systems security.
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
