An established UK civil engineering and groundworks specialist is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong and growing project pipeline across civil engineering, groundworks and reinforced concrete works.
This is a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor role offering exposure to technically interesting projects, a supportive commercial team, and long-term stability within a business known for repeat clients and consistent delivery.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role suits a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being involved, trusted, and supported rather than micromanaged.

Commercial management of civil engineering and groundworks projects

Preparation and management of budgets and cost plans

Valuations, variations and change control

Subcontractor procurement and account management

Cost reporting and forecasting

Supporting project teams with commercial advice

Assisting with final accounts and client liaison

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, groundworks or reinforced concrete

Comfortable managing projects from start to finish

Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost control

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
