Dreaming of a role where you can take ownership of your career then truly unwind from the demands of your day; enjoying the great outdoors, sea air, and beauty of Cornwall?
Here at Bodmin Vets4Pets we can offer you a work/life balance to make that aspirational Cornish lifestyle you imagine a reality.
We can build a part-time rota that works around you and your commitments whether it be school hours, carer responsibilities, your well-being or catching the next big wave at the famous Fistral beach! We can accommodate you. Saturdays are on a shared rota basis to keep it fair for everyone, and there’s no Sundays or OOHs.
We’re a small, welcoming team who bring a real family feel to the practice and are always open to new ideas that will drive us forward, so we’re looking for a vet who will bring energy to push our growth, with the support and guidance of an experienced industry network.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring career aspirations to life with ample support and we will help you with any specific interests you have and develop your skills in a direction of your choosing. So, if you want to pursue a post graduate qualification or certificate, we’re happy to help support that. You may even be interested in partnership in the future, and, if so, this is an option here too!
Our caseload is everything you would expect from an established general practice, with a cat friendly silver award, offering you plenty of variation. You should have small animal experience gained as a general practitioner, and great people skills. You will be comfortable with sole charge but will also relish being part of a team.

Pets just see people. And just like pets, we embrace everyone’s differences. We work to break down barriers, attract and develop diverse talent, and create a culture that allows everyone to be the best they can be.
Our diversity and inclusion vision is that everyone is welcome and feels part of our group. So if you think you’re a good match to what we are looking for, and you share our belief that together ‘we’re better with pets’, we’re waiting to hear from you, whatever your background or circumstances.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
