Part Time Teaching Assistant with Midday Duties A primary school in Stockport is looking for a part-time teaching assistant with required midday duties for 3 days a week from September. The school is looking for a candidate with a passion for supporting children in education and who is willing to work flexibly across age groups and subjects. Supervising over lunchtime will also be required for this role. Role Description - Supporting children in class under the guidance of the class teacher. - Leading intervention groups and 1 to 1’s for children who require additional support. - Supervising the safety and well-being over lunchtimes while modelling appropriate play. - Ensuring the safeguarding of all children under their supervision. Role Requirements - Experience working with children in either a childcare or school setting. - Available 3 days a week for full day commitments including over lunchtimes. - A desire and passion to support children in all aspects of their education journey. - Ability to support all children despite their varying levels of need. - A good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
