Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to provide administrative co‑ordinator to the SEDS based in Brighton. SEDS is an expanding team delivering care and support to adults in the community with eating disorders across Sussex.
Main duties of the post
* Provide general administration for the team when required.
* Coordinate and oversee all assessment booking, waiting list management and allocation meetings.
* Maintain and update relevant spreadsheets and ensure accuracy of data.
* Prepare agendas and minute where appropriate.
* Contact and arrange initial assessments with patients.
* Compile appropriate reports and audits.
* Work closely with other administrators to co‑ordinate workload and delegation of responsibilities.
* Cover for annual leave and sickness as part of the team.

Job responsibilities
* Oversee the day to day management of the assessment and treatment waiting lists within SEDS.
* Inbox management, liaising with patients and professionals both internal and external.
* Providing admin support at the dedicated waiting list management and allocation meetings.
* Maintain and prepare agendas and minute where appropriate.
* Contacting patients to arrange initial assessments.
* Responsible for waiting list diary management.
* Maintain and update relevant spreadsheets and ensure accuracy of data.
* Compile appropriate reports and audits.
* Work closely with other administrators to co‑ordinate workload and delegation of responsibilities.
* Carry out any other duties in line with the grade and scope of the post, working as part of the team and to cover as necessary for annual leave and sickness.
Person Specification
* Essential Qualifications
o NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent practical experience
o RSA 3 or equivalent experience and evidence of further practical experience
o Good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above
* Essential Knowledge/Experience
o Significant experience of a range of secretarial procedures
o Experience of working as an administrator or secretary
o Experience of office and resource management
o Experience of supervising others
o Experience of producing documents to a high standard of presentation with good accuracy
o Experience of maintaining office systems
o Experience of generating own correspondence
