Information Officer role at Guardian Jobs. Our client is seeking an Information Officer to join a busy and supportive team during a time of rapid change in cystic fibrosis and the information landscape. Editorial expertise and a commitment to engaging with and empowering the CF community are essential to develop high quality, accessible information in print and digital formats for people affected by CF and clinical teams.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain an extensive offer of health and other information, including factsheets, special topic information packs, web content and videos.
* Ensure resources meet the needs of target audiences through meaningful involvement with people with CF and healthcare professionals.
* Produce high quality, comprehensive information from concept through to publication and present complex health information in an easy to understand way.
* Apply the criteria of the Patient Information Forum quality kitemark (PIF TICK) as an integral part of the role.
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritise effectively, and create reactive information to address emerging issues.
* Work autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience producing health information for people with health conditions from concept to publication.
* Editorial expertise and a commitment to accessible, engaging information.
* An understanding of, and commitment to, PIF TICK quality criteria.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects.
* Ability to engage with and empower the cystic fibrosis community and healthcare professionals.
Location & Availability
Flexible location with occasional travel to the London Office if working from home. Closing date for applications: midnight on Monday 20 October 2025. First interviews expected week commencing 3 November 2025. Interviews and decision timelines may change; applicants are encouraged to apply early.
