Job Summary
To provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Community Midwifery Team, ensuring the smooth running of services and timely support to both staff and patients. The role involves managing patient enquiries, coordinating appointments, maintaining equipment and stock, and supporting midwives and maternity support workers to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Working from home or Hybrid working is not available for this role.

Main duties of the job
About Us
Patient Administration:
Respond promptly and professionally to patient queries via phone, email, or in person.
Grant and manage patient access to the Maternity Badger Net portal.
Arrange and reschedule ante-natal and post-natal appointments, including clinics and individual consultations.
Coordinate appointments for specialist tests, including Glucose Tolerance Tests.
Team Support and Coordination:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to midwives and maternity support workers within the community.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data is up-to-date in relevant systems.
Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports as required.
Equipment and Stock Management:
Maintain and monitor all clinical and office stock levels.
Arrange calibration, servicing, and maintenance of equipment in line with Trust policies.
Process stock orders and ensure timely delivery to the team

NVQ level 3 in Customer Services / Business Administration / Team Leading ECDL or equivalent training and experience
Knowledge of Great Western IT systems including Medway and Medway Maternity
