Acting as a trusted financial partner to the project team, you will provide critical oversight across budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will deliver meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision-making, identify risks and opportunities, and drive successful project outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile business transformation programme, influencing both operational and financial performance while helping to shape the future of the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for manufacturing transfer activities, including labour, equipment relocation, logistics, validation, and capital expenditure. - Monitor project costs and headcount against budget, analyse variances, and identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions where required. - Produce accurate financial forecasts, reports, and performance dashboards, providing stakeholders with clear insights into project progress and cost drivers. - Support the development of business cases through financial modelling, ROI analysis, payback assessments, and evaluation of alternative transfer scenarios. - Partner with project management, engineering, supply chain, finance teams, and manufacturing sites to provide financial guidance and support informed decision-making. - Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance standards, and audit requirements, while maintaining transparency, traceability, and effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Your ambitions can take us further Candidate skills & requirements Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field - 5 years of experience in project controlling, financial analysis, or manufacturing finance. - Experience with manufacturing transfers, industrialisation, or supply chain projects. - Strong financial analysis and modeling skills - Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge (e.g., SAP) - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - High attention to detail and problem-solving ability - Ability to work in cross-functional and international environments Preferred: - Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments - Familiarity with capital expenditure (CapEx) management. - Knowledge of cost accounting in either aerospace or automotive setting.
