Lead Security Officer

Hours: 4 on, 4 off days & nights – 06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00
Pay: £15.40 per hour
About The Role
* Actively lead a security team ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with site procedures and policies and take responsibility for professional conduct and development of the team.
* Remain alert and vigilant to activity on site and investigate any occurrences that require further escalation, including scrutinising the CCTV systems and compiling incident reports for the client.
* Undertake any other tasks as identified or required by the Site Security Manager or Deputy Security Manager.
* Ensure new starters receive a complete site and company induction and develop/manage probationer and annual training programmes, conduct performance monitoring including scenario testing, and sign off AI’s and H&S documents.
* Manage sickness/absence reporting for the shift, ensuring timely reporting and welfare management for officers, escalating when appropriate.

* Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
* Demonstrate reliability including punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
* DS/SG SIA licence.
