Lead Electrician – Full‑time, On‑site (Barry, South Wales)
This role is a full‑time on‑site position responsible for overseeing and performing electrical work, including installations, maintenance, and repairs across a variety of projects for insurance companies, local authorities and commercial customers. The Lead Electrician will:
* Perform electrical installations and maintenance for both domestic and commercial sites.
* Conduct testing and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
* Manage day‑to‑day tasks and coordinate with teams to meet project deadlines.
Good salary package based upon experience, company vehicle with fuel card, all specialist equipment provided. Annual leave plus paid bank holiday totalling 28 days per annum. Potential to become a Director of the business.
Qualifications
* Time served, fully qualified.
* Experience in maintenance & repair, troubleshooting.
* Strong background in all aspects of electrical works.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently, use own initiative and be part of a team.
* Relevant certifications and licenses in electrical work.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
