A leading organisation is seeking an ESG Project Manager to join its Corporate Affairs function. This exciting opportunity is being recruited on behalf of our client and offers the chance to play a pivotal role in coordinating, tracking, and reporting on ESG initiatives that support broader sustainability, governance, and social impact commitments.
Working as the central hub for project oversight, the successful candidate will partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders, consolidate data for reporting excellence, and help drive alignment across teams to ensure meaningful progress against ESG priorities.
Key Duties
1. Plan, manage, and deliver multiple Corporate Affairs initiatives in line with strategic objectives.
2. Maintain and optimise a centralised project management system tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks.
3. Identify delivery risks, flag blockers, and escalate issues when necessary.
4. Facilitate ESG governance routines, including working groups, steering committees, and quarterly reporting.
5. Support strategic planning and roadmapping across Corporate Affairs, ensuring prioritisation and effective resource allocation.
6. Consolidate, validate, and analyse data for ESG and business reporting, including dashboards and insights.
7. Ensure compliance with global reporting requirements.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, external partners, NGO beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
9. 5+ years’ experience in project management and/or ESG-focused roles.
10. Strong project management skills; PMP certification advantageous.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Sustainability, Public Policy, or related field advantageous.
12. Familiarity with ESG frameworks, disclosure standards, and sustainability metrics.
13. Strong data management and analytical skills, including dashboard development.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
15. Proven stakeholder management and engagement experience.
16. Ability to think strategically, creatively, and innovatively.
17. Strong attention to detail with robust organisational skills.
18. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
19. Experience crafting communications campaigns beneficial.
20. Proficiency with project and data tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Power BI, and Excel.
21. An existing CSI network is advantageous.
