We are currently recruiting for a Shift Leader to join our Visitor Centre Team in delivering a high quality catering offer to conference delegates, members of the public and other visitors at our busy Idle Valley Nature Centre.
Key responsibilities
* Supervise and motivate a team to deliver results.
* Ensure high level of customer service across all interactions.
* Maintain food hygiene and environmental health standards.
* Work independently and handle shift‑specific challenges.
* Think on your feet and put yourself in the customer’s shoes.
Qualifications & skills
* Experience in a busy catering environment.
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and environmental health legislation.
* Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
* Self‑motivated, proactive with a "can‑do" attitude.
* Comfortable working independently.
