Driver Hire Leeds West are actively seeking to recruit a dedicated 7.5 Tonne driver to join the team of our prestigious client in the Beeston LS11 area. This is an ongoing, temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person and the opportunity to join a nationally recognized company.
As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our customers' business, representing them professionally and delivering excellent customer service when out on our routes. Our customer is one of the UK's leading providers of PPE equipment, and you will be delivering to a wide variety of customers, including Prisons, Hospitals, and other businesses.
You will also be responsible for the safe and timely movement of goods, maintaining excellent customer service, and using PDAs for accurate tracking. You'll also need to be prepared for manual handling and handballing as part of your duties, as some light warehouse duties are to be expected. o Starting at £13.00ph PAYE Accrued + Overtime £14.57
o Or £14.57 PAYE Advanced + Overtime £17.37

When permanent with our customer:
You will enjoy a starting salary of £28,240 with the opportunity for overtime, or time in lieu, and access to a company-wide bonus scheme worth over £1400 annually. You will also enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule and 25 days of annual leave, alongside the statutory 8 days of Bank Holidays.
What we're looking for:
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need
* A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence, full Driver CPC, and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
* Demonstrable experience with ratchet straps and load securing.
* Familiarity with PDAs for delivery management.
* A willingness to undertake manual handling and handballing duties.
* A good level of physical fitness.
* Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
* Good local geographical knowledge is a plus.
