Partnership Tax Manager
London - Global Law Firm
We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Partnership Tax Manager into their London-based Finance function. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a broad and high-profile tax compliance portfolio across the firm's UK entities and partners.
The Opportunity
The Partnership Tax Manager will lead the delivery of the full tax compliance cycle playing a key role in ensuring accurate filings, managing partner tax affairs, and supporting the firm on a range of technical and operational tax matters.
This is a role for someone who enjoys both hands-on work and oversight, and who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the preparation and review of UK LLP and UK corporation tax computations
* Oversee the preparation of individual member tax returns and ensure timely, accurate submissions
* Handle HMRC correspondence and manage all associated compliance obligations
* Produce annual member tax statements, including tax reserving and reconciliations
* Act as a key point of contact for partner tax queries
* Manage the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement
* Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the firm and its members
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and introduce technology-led improvements
* Support the Head of Partnership Tax with technical analysis and project-based work
Skills & Experience
* Tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACA, ATT or equivalent)
* UK tax compliance experience, ideally within a law firm environment
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a full annual compliance cycle
* Confidence communicating complex tax matters to senior stakeholders
* High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
