Due to increasing demand and company expansion, we are recruiting to expand our clinical teams.

We are a specialist ADHD diagnosis and treatment clinic operating throughout the United Kingdom. We are more than just a diagnosis service; we provide bespoke assessment and treatment packages aimed at helping patients reach their full potential. As an integral part of our organization, The ADHD Clinician (non-medical prescriber) will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating, and monitoring treatment plans.

Job responsibilities

Location: Home Based / Remote

Department: Clinical

Hours: 40 hours per week (to be confirmed at interview)


Job Summary:

Clinicians at ADHD360 will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering excellent patient care. The ADHD Clinician will conduct assessments, formulate, and monitor treatment plans, requiring a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently remotely.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Evaluate children and young people for ADHD, considering co-occurring conditions.
* Make treatment decisions using clinical judgment and experience.
* Work independently within your competence, with supervision from Team Leads.
* Practice as a non-medical prescriber to develop and implement treatment and titration plans, ensuring safety and compliance with NICE guidelines.
* Support patients throughout their treatment, conducting regular follow-ups.
* Perform risk assessments and review safeguarding needs.
* Maintain accurate client records on Chrysalis, adhering to professional standards.
* Ensure prescriptions are written legally and recorded properly.
* Participate in supervision, assessments, and team meetings.
* Report clinical incidents and participate in investigations.
* Complete mandatory training and CPD to maintain prescribing status.


Qualifications and Experience:

* Qualified nurse with UK registration and PIN (NMC).
* Qualified Non-medical Prescriber (NMP).
* At least 2 years post-qualification experience working with children and young people (e.g., CAMHS, acute, or community).
* Experience as a Specialist ADHD Nurse (desirable).
* Ability to work independently within NMC Code.
* Understanding of pharmaceutical treatments for ADHD (desirable).
* Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency for remote assessments.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
* Professional approach aligned with regulatory standards.
* Good time management skills.

Person Specification


Qualifications

* Registered Mental Health Nurse, Adult Nurse, or Paediatric Nurse (2 years post-qualifying).
* Experience with children and young people, ADHD, mental health, CAMHS.
